tepotzlan
Situated in a highland mountain valley and cradled by dramatic, copper-toned, mountain cliffs, Tepoztlán is a town with a breath-taking mountainous landscape, charming town center, rich echoes of ancient civilizations, and an interesting convergence of inhabitants, the town makes for one of the most remarkable mix of colonial and indigenous experience, sweeping mountain vistas and a lively atmosphere. The town is famous for the remains of El Tepozteco temple built on top of the nearby Tepozteco Mountain, as well as for the exotic ice cream flavors prepared by the townspeople
